Job Summary
Researcher role within AQA's Research and Evaluation team focused on educational assessment research. Join a growing team supporting live research projects across digital, vocational and general qualifications; responsibilities include literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, producing clear reports and outputs, presenting at conferences and events, and engaging in school visits and surveys. The role offers hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office in Guildford or Manchester, and provides mentoring and development opportunities. Requires a Master’s degree (completed or in progress) and an undergraduate degree in a related field, plus experience with qualitative/quantitative methods and strong communication abilities. Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in psychology, education, statistics or related discipline
- A Master's degree (completed or in progress) in psychology, education, statistics or related discipline
- Experience using qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
- Strong communication skills, able to explain research clearly to different audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with R would be beneficial
- Willingness to comply with DBS checks and safeguarding expectations
