Job Summary
Support fundamental equity investment research and marketing activities by generating proprietary data, developing investment recommendations, and creating financial projections for assigned companies. Conduct background research in targeted industries, monitor economic and corporate developments, and perform statistical analysis, modeling, and forecasting. Write research reports, provide investment recommendations, and effectively communicate views to the sales force and client base. Support sales, syndicate, and trading efforts while participating in chaperoned communications with Corporate Finance and providing due diligence on potential transactions. This role requires full coverage development and extensive travel by car and/or air. The Vice President reports under administrative direction with oversight from the Head of Equity Research.
Required Qualifications
- Undergrad degree, MBA or CFA or other professional designation
- 1 to 3 years Investment Research or related experience
- Series 7, 63, 86 & 87 within 6 months of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Extensive travel by car and/or air in conjunction with local, regional and/or national travel

- Has an extensive network of industry contacts and is well-known and respected within the industry
