Job Summary

Design and perform experiments for sponsored research projects, including the compilation, analysis, and interpretation of experimental data. Execute routine and complex experiments involving molecular cloning, protein expression, flow cytometry, RNA sequencing, and qRT-PCR. Evaluate anti-tumor effects of monoclonal antibodies in vitro and in vivo models while maintaining accurate records and assisting in manuscript preparation. Operate and maintain specialized equipment, monitor inventory, and oversee daily lab operations in the absence of the supervisor. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to interpret data validity and assist in developing research protocols.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
1 year experience
Hands-on experience in molecular biology and biochemical techniques, including molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, and structural biology approaches
Experience with mammalian cell culture, RNA and protein analyses, and a strong understanding of cancer biology
Knowledge of biology, chemistry, mathematics, documentation, and records management
Data utilization, complex problem solving, critical thinking, resource management, and writing skills
Ability to occasionally lift moderate weight materials, stand, or walk continuously
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required
Ability to occasionally distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects
