Job Summary
Set up and perform experiments, maintaining equipment and supplies while analyzing data and specimens. Assist with developing study protocols, data collection tools, and databases. Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports, manuscripts, and other documents. Interact with students and laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator. Perform other related work as needed to support research projects on diabetes, obesity, and aging.
Required Qualifications
- college or university degree in related field
- knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline

- Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the research being conducted
- Relevant research experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in relevant scientific field
- Knowledge of research techniques or methods relevant to the lab, such as microscope imaging, image and data analyses
- This includes writing/modifying computer scripts, maintaining the computer network environment and trouble-shooting hardware/software problems
