Job Summary
Design and execute daily laboratory experiments including mammalian cell culture, 3D organoid culture, molecular biology techniques, and immunological assays. Manage mouse models through breeding, genotyping, and phenotyping while maintaining colony inventory and safely storing lab supplies. Keep detailed records of experimental data, conduct literature reviews, and assist in preparing reports and manuscripts. Support training for students and new personnel, and perform related administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- college or university degree in related field
- knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline

- Handling and working with mice
- Familiar with cell culture and molecular biology techniques, including DNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis
- Basic knowledge of research techniques and methods
- Basic office/lab software skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point
- Organized, task-oriented, good record keeper
- Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work with little direct oversight and within a larger research team
- Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
