Job Summary
Assist scientists in performing scientific research, development and/or clinical tasks. Set up, operate, calibrate, clean, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments; prepare supplies and work areas; may order supplies. Conduct standardized biological, microbiological or biochemical tests and analyses; collect information and samples; analyze experimental data and prepare reports, summaries, and grant-related materials; participate in presentations and manuscript preparation. Work under guidance to contribute to grant applications and potential co-authored publications; maintain detailed notebooks and ensure compliance with safety and SOPs. Requires a bachelor’s degree (preferably in biology or chemistry) and strong communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team. Location: Boston, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in biology or chemistry
- Knowledge, skills and abilities related to biology, chemistry or medicine (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to analyze information and address problems with logic
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to work in a team environment
- No prior professional experience required (entry-level role)
