The Research Technician II in Pediatrics Newborn Medicine supports mouse-model infection studies and endothelial dysfunction research, performing in vitro and in vivo experiments (cell culture, bacterial culture, microscopy, flow cytometry, PCR) and assisting with data collection, reagent preparation, equipment setup, and mouse colony maintenance. Responsibilities include maintaining safety documentation, data entry and analysis, laboratory housekeeping, and collaboration with the PI and lab team to advance basic and translational pediatric research. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education/experience) and the ability to work in a BSL-2 laboratory environment with potential exposure to animals and infectious agents; salary range is approximately $35,194 to $54,995 per year.
