Job Summary
Research Technician II at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine focused on mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in pediatric AML. Responsibilities include conducting and refining lab experiments (e.g., flow cytometry with training, RNA extraction, handling primary patient samples, data generation and analysis), literature searches to support experimental decisions, accurate documentation of results, ongoing evaluation of experimental success, ordering supplies, interfacing with clinical providers and the clinical research team, and performing duties related to achieving lab goals. Preferred skills include expertise in flow cytometry, apoptosis assays, qPCR, immunoblotting/immunochemistry, kinase/phosphatase assays, cell cycle analysis, and murine models of disease; strong English communication; and US work authorization. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Basic Science or related field
- Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement
