Job Summary
Conduct defined research and laboratory tests and experiments according to prescribed protocols and assigned schedules under general supervision. Set up experiments as directed by a principal investigator and participate in laboratory maintenance activities including sterilization, equipment cleaning, supply ordering, and media preparation. Maintain records, files, and logs in laboratory notebooks and computer databases, then compile data and record study results for publications, grants, and seminar presentations. Perform related responsibilities as required by the principal investigator while observing specific precautions against or receiving immunization for potentially hazardous agents. This role supports the School of Medicine Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University, a leading research university fostering excellence and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
