Job Summary
Provide advanced legal, business, regulatory, litigation, and competitive intelligence research while designing customized current awareness and self-service programs for attorneys and clients. Develop automated monitoring and tracking solutions for legal developments and market trends, then partner with business professionals to integrate research materials into existing workflows. Evaluate, test, and help implement new research, knowledge management, and AI technologies to serve as a trusted advisor on research strategy and emerging legal tools. Collaborate with Innovation, Marketing, Business Development, and IT departments on strategic initiatives that enhance the firm's research and intelligence capabilities. This remote role offers a salary range of $90,000 - $125,000 with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, merit bonuses, and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Library Science (MLS) from an accredited school
- Juris Doctor (J.D.)
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and information resources
- Strong analytical, communication, and consultative skills
- Ability to translate attorney and client needs into practical research and intelligence solutions
- Familiarity with AI-powered research tools, legal research platforms, Microsoft 365, and knowledge management technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Law firm, legal information provider or professional services experience
- Experience with competitive intelligence, current awareness, legal technology, workflow automation, or knowledge management
- Experience evaluating and utilizing generative AI tools within a legal environment
