Job Summary
Build and revise a rolling research plan to deliver historical research, publication services, and project support for the Melbourne Cricket Club's business needs. Oversee the MCC Library's reference and research services to internal and external clients via an enquiry tracking system, ensuring appropriate prioritization. Manage and develop staff and volunteers to achieve job goals and consistent delivery of business objectives across the Museum & Heritage Services team. Oversee the operation of the MCC Library, including during MCG event mode on evenings and weekends, while advancing the Oral History project and Publication Support Program. Represent the MCC at sector events and conferences to advance library and sports heritage initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- several years' experience in a historical research role
- experience managing staff and volunteers
- delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
- strong interest in sports history
- passion for research
- National and International Police Checks
- Right to Work in Australia
- current Victorian Working with Children Check
