Research Services Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate review and negotiation of sponsored and non-sponsored research agreements to ensure compliance with university policies and applicable laws; manage terms and conditions, annual disclosures and management plans with researchers; review NDAs, Confidentiality Agreements, and Data Transfer Agreements; coordinate with Office of General Counsel, Technology Commercialization, TAMUS Risk & Compliance, and related offices; facilitate revisions and approvals of award documents including budget changes, PI changes, time extensions, and funding modifications; monitor research compliance with federal/state regulations; support FCOI disclosures, nepotism monitoring, subrecipient monitoring, and FFATA reporting; assist with issuing New Award Notices, proposal preparation/review/submission, and maintenance of internal tracking systems; prepare monthly/ad hoc reports and coordinate communications with sponsors, researchers, and administrative staff; attend meetings and support project administration across the award lifecycle; travel as needed and ensure safety and compliance across duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of related experience in a university or business environment performing duties related to accounting and/or developing budgets, and/or project management, and/or proposal administration including proposal preparation and/or identifying potential sponsor/funding opportunities
