Job Summary
The Research Services Coordinator coordinates the review and negotiation of sponsored and non-sponsored research agreements to ensure compliance with university policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include reviewing terms and conditions for compliance, tracking and maintaining logs, coordinating with researchers and academic leadership, handling NDAs and Data Transfer Agreements, coordinating consultations with Office of General Counsel and other offices, facilitating revisions to award documents, monitoring regulatory compliance and FCOI processes, supporting subaward administration, assisting with New Award Notices and account setup, and supporting proposal preparation and reporting. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a university research administration environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of related experience in a university or business environment performing duties related to accounting and/or developing budgets, and/or project management, and/or proposal administration including proposal preparation and/or identifying potential sponsor/funding opportunities.
