Job Summary
Senior-level Research Associate responsible for designing, executing and managing foundational biology/health science research in the Physiology and Cell Biology lab. Collaborates with the principal investigator to develop and implement study goals; conceptualizes and executes complex laboratory experiments; plans and performs advanced molecular and cellular techniques; coordinates data processing and analysis, tests experimental designs and sampling techniques, and develops research controls and standards. Helps write and prepare manuscripts, grant proposals, and project reports; presents results at national/international conferences; oversees lab safety per OSHA and regulatory requirements; supervises staff and manages daily lab operations, procurement of supplies, and service contracts. Requires Master’s degree or equivalent with substantial relevant research experience; location: Pelotonia Research Center, Columbus Campus, United States of America. Open to 40-hour work weeks with varying shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience required; 3 years of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree, or 1 year of relevant experience required with Master's Degree
- Considerable experience in a biological/health research capacity is required.
