Job Summary

Signal Processing Research Scientist to join RTX BB N Arlington team; work on digital signal processing and RF-domain algorithms, implement in real-time hardware, test in labs and over-the-air environments, and contribute to reports, proposals, and publications. Requires BS with experience or MS/PhD in related fields, strong C/C++, Python, MATLAB skills, embedded development, and active TS-level clearance; onsite role in Arlington, VA with potential travel.

Required Qualifications

  • BS with 5 years of relevant experience, or MS with 3 years, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other relevant field
  • Development experience using C, C++, Python, Matlab, and/or Java applied to signal processing challenges
  • Active Top Secret government security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Role requires ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA (US)
  • Experience in MATLAB and Python for algorithm development; embedded development and testing; software/hardware testing; technical reporting
  • Ability to work in a small team on applied research projects
  • Overnight travel may be required

Additional Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance required on day 1
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
  • Onsite role in Arlington, VA, USA
  • Potential overnight travel
