Job Summary
Senior Research Scientist role responsible for conducting productive experimental programs, coordinating scientific plans, results and resources across multiple projects, leading team efforts, and providing substantial intellectual contributions. Plays a major role in proposal and development of new projects, co-authoring manuscripts and publications, writing grants/contracts, and acting as a technical consultant to global project teams. Responsibilities include planning and managing complex programs, developing strategies, mentoring direct reports, overseeing performance and career development, and communicating results and issues within projects and the organization. Requires advanced degree in chemistry or chemical engineering and substantial years of relevant experience; leadership and ability to design experiments, solve complex problems, and collaborate across functions are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Minimum 14-19 years’ relevant experience OR Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering Minimum 12-17 years’ relevant experience OR Ph.D. in relevant or related field Minimum 8-14 years’ relevant experience
