Research Scientist/Research Engineer (Copy)

Research Scientist/Research Engineer to help build scalable end-to-end oversight assistants for AI systems. Responsibilities include developing and training scalable interpretability assistants, creating diverse evaluations of model behaviors, designing architectures/objectives, and scaling training/inference pipelines up to 1T-scale models. Ideal candidates have experience fine-tuning language models, designing architectures, creating evaluations, strong programming skills, good experimental design, clear communication, and a collaborative in-person work style in San Francisco.
