Job Summary
Assess state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and apply them to large-scale business problems in NLP and generative AI. Develop and apply innovations to strategic global projects while performing feasibility studies and analyzing data to determine the most appropriate solutions. Build relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate results clearly, ensuring ML solutions maintain simplicity, scalability, and reproducibility. Collaborate with technical colleagues on the integration and deployment of code, maintaining high-quality standards with minimal defects. This role requires a senior-level machine learning expert with 3–5 years of experience in PyTorch and deep learning to work on diverse data challenges within the retail and consumer intelligence domain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent numerate discipline
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning using Pytorch
- Experience performing EDA with large datasets and writing production-grade code
- Ability to understand scientific papers and develop the idea into executable code
- Analytical mindset, problem solving and logical thinking capabilities
- A high level of interpersonal and presentation skills in English across cultures
- Strong ability to meet deadlines
- Keen to work as part of a diverse team of international colleagues and in a global inclusive culture

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree and/or specialization courses in ML/DL/NLP
- PhD in science
- Experience in MLOPs
- Understanding and practice of Generative AI (prompt engineering, RAG)
- A practical grasp of databases (SQL, ElasticSearch) and Databricks
- Experience in retail, consumer, ecommerce, business, FMCG domain
