Job Summary
Research Scientist for Immunochemistry located in Ville Saint-Laurent. Primary responsibilities include designing and coordinating study plans and schedules, overseeing laboratory procedures, ensuring SOP and GLP compliance, drafting study reports, communicating with Study Directors and Sponsors, preparing cost estimates, reviewing raw data, and contributing to study design and documentation. Requires a Master’s degree in Biochemistry or related field with 3–5 years of scientific experience; experience with ligand binding assays and immunoassays (ELISAs, ECLs, hybridization-ELISA, Gyros) is preferred. Candidate should have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, problem-solving ability, and meticulous attention to detail. Role is full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours/week, located at 7170 rue Frederick-Banting, Saint-Laurent, QC, with standard weekday schedule and onsite work.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in Biochemistry or related discipline
- minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Scientific position
- Experience in development, optimization and use of ligand binding assay techniques
- Experience with immunoassay techniques (ELISAs, ECLs, hybridization-ELISA, Gyros) is an asset
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
