Job Summary
Genome safety-focused role supporting genotoxicity assessment for gene and cell therapies (AAVs, CAR-T) with opportunities to contribute to mechanistic safety across modalities. Responsibilities include conducting in vitro assays, generating and interpreting data for regulatory nonclinical safety assessments, contributing to integration site analysis, designing cell-based assays to investigate DNA damage, and developing innovative regulatory testing technologies. Collaboration across regulatory, nonclinical, and translational teams; preparation of reports, presentations, and regulatory-relevant summaries. Desirable experience includes gene therapy systems (AAV, lentiviral vectors), DNA damage/repair readouts (γH2AX, western blot, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry), karyotyping/FISH/SKY, and familiarity with genome safety concepts (integration, clonal expansion, tumorigenicity). Location is Basel, Switzerland and role is 100% on site.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in cellular biology, molecular biology, toxicology or a related subject
