Job Summary
Conduct aerosol development, characterization, engineering, and application while reporting data to sponsors and the scientific community. Manage complex tasks and projects simultaneously, maintaining high-level documentation and interfacing with multiple scientific staff. Publish and present original research to pursue external recognition within aerosol science. Work inside the ABSL3 facility, operating standard laboratory equipment and handling wet lab environments with appropriate PPE. Maintain Select Agent clearance and work independently or as part of a team to support federal and commercial programs.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or permanent resident
- Ph.D in Aerosol Sciences, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a directly related field
- minimum of 2 years of directly related research experience
- equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained
- demonstrated ability to handle fundamental scientific tasks
- published and/or presented original research in prior roles
- research experience in a specific discipline
- superior professional-level written and verbal communication skills
- high degree of professionalism
- excellent problem-solving skills
- ability to manage a wide variety of complex tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines
