Research Resources Coordinator, Research Laboratories

The Research Resources Coordinator coordinates safety, facilities, and equipment for the Research Institute, maintains equipment inventory, coordinates preventive maintenance, and collaborates with vendors to obtain quotes and schedule equipment demos. The role also provides safety training to new associates and conducts preventative drills to protect personnel, analyzes and resolves operational problems related to facilities, equipment, and safety, and supports the Research Administration Team on various projects and tasks. Key skills include understanding facilities operations, physical plant, safety and security, laboratory equipment, communication, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to read, write, and speak English professionally; and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Education and licensure requirements include an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and no active licensure required. The position requires light to moderate physical effort, with specific lifting and pushing/pulling capabilities, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
