Job Summary
Research Physicist with Python experience for part-time, freelance AI-trainer projects. Design and develop computational physics problems requiring Python programming (Numpy, SciPy, Sympy) to simulate real physics workflows, validate solutions numerically, and document statements with verified answers. Responsibilities include creating problems across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics, ensuring problems are computationally intensive, mirroring real research challenges, and communicating clearly in English. Candidates should have a physics degree and 2+ years in applied, research, or teaching roles, strong Python skills (and familiarity with numerical simulation libraries), and the ability to work on project-based tasks around 10–20 hours per week. Compensation up to $45/hour equivalent, with variation by project. Remote work is available. Candidates may be located in Paris or Lyon, France, or work remotely from France.
