Research Physicist - Freelance AI Trainer

Job Summary
Design and document physics problems that simulate real research workflows for AI-training projects in optics and physics; create computationally intensive problems across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics, and provide verified correct answers. Ideal candidates have a Physics degree, 2+ years of applied/research/teaching experience, experience with numerical simulation methods, and strong written English (C1+). Projects are part-time and non-permanent, with compensation up to $45 per hour depending on level and pace of contribution.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
- 2+ years of professional experience: applied, research, or teaching experience is applicable
- Experience with numerical simulation methods
- Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows
- Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas
- Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques
- Strong written English (C1+)
