Job Summary
CoStar Group seeks a Research Photographer for Stuttgart on a two-year fixed-term contract to build an in-depth understanding of commercial real estate in Stuttgart and surrounding areas. The role requires on-site inspections to ensure current and accurate photographs and property data are represented in CoStar products. Responsibilities include driving or walking assigned submarkets to collect imagery and updates, cross-referencing leads with the CoStar database, photographing properties and collecting building data, post-processing images with Adobe software, creating footprints and rooftop geocoding, mapping tenant locations, and adhering to safety standards. The photographer will use a drone when applicable, communicate professionally with property managers and clients, manage data uploads daily, and participate in regular online meetings with sales and research teams. Requirements include a full local driving license, proficiency in English and German, strong photography and post-processing skills (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), a relevant degree or equivalent in photography, willingness to travel nationally/internationally, proficiency with Mac OS and internet tools, an existing real estate photography portfolio, excellent communication and organizational abilities, hands-on drone experience with a European A2 license, and the ability to work independently and remotely with support via phone and email. The position is field-based with the company headquartered in the USA and requires CV in English or interview in English as part of the process and offers a comprehensive benefits package."
Required Qualifications
- A full local driving license (clean record preferred)
- Reading/writing proficiency in English and German
- Technical proficiency in digital photography and post processing via the Adobe suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
- Educated to degree level in photography or related field
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for Field-Research projects
- Strong knowledge of Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications
- Portfolio demonstrating interior and exterior real estate imagery
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Hands-on drone experience and a valid European A2 drone license
- Ability to quickly learn real estate terminology and mapping software
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely with daily support via phone/email
- Willingness to work on own initiative and travel as required
