Research Pharmacy Technician 2 , GCRB, Full Time

Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintain drug inventory and patient records, and provide technical support for clinical trials. They manage CID inventory, independently order CID within scope, help with clinical trial protocol, triage pharmacy calls, and maintain study records. They perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision, prepack medications, and prepare sterile intravenous chemotherapy or other biohazardous products following aseptic techniques. They participate in CID inventory audits, clean sterile compounding suites per USP 797/800 and UM policies, organize study binders, support training of staff, and perform quality improvement/assurance tasks related to Investigational Drug Services. They ensure equipment functions properly and supervise pharmacy learners while adhering to occupational health and safety and university policies. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Florida Pharmacy Technician license, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
