Job Summary
Blend, process, fill, and sterilize liquid and powdered infant and adult nutritional products while performing material handling, dispensing, and clean-in-place operations. Operate scales, heat treatment systems, automated fillers, can seamers, and homogenizers to execute approved work orders for product manufacture. Maintain cGMP compliance, perform allergen control, execute environmental monitoring sampling, and conduct double seam evaluations and pH adjustments. Ensure accurate task completion, routine housekeeping, and equipment maintenance to meet departmental standards and EHS requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Four years experience in a plant production environment
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula, adult nutrition, and performance nutrition
- Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements
- Ability to read and follow work order documents
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to complete the required employment eligibility verification form
