The Research Nurse Specialist will support the coordination and execution of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's research protocols and clinical trials, effectively managing clinical research activities and participant experiences. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Active, current license as a Registered Nurse in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a research setting including clinical research coordination
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical Research certification preferred
- Nursing experience in cardiology
- Nursing experience in pulmonary
- Nursing experience in hematology-oncology
- Nursing experience in vascular medicine
- Nursing experience in sickle cell disease
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced research environments
