Job Summary
The Research Nurse Specialist will provide research support services for NHLBI's clinical trials, collaborate with clinical providers, educate patients, and manage research data while ensuring protocol compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active, current license as a Registered Nurse in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Research setting, including clinical research coordination
- At least 4 years of nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical Research certification preferred
- Nursing experience in cardiology, pulmonary, hematology-oncology, vascular medicine, and/or sickle cell disease preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity research environments
