Job Summary
Part-time contract role to support clinical research studies focusing on well-being, cancer prevention, and Asian American health; lead clinical components of participant study visits by obtaining vital signs, performing measurements, conducting ECGs and spirometry, and collecting specimens; administer protocol-required interventions and medications (e.g., albuterol via inhaler) while monitoring for adverse reactions and maintaining documentation; ensure compliance with GCP, study protocols, and regulatory requirements; utilize electronic data capture systems and maintain accurate study documentation; collaborate with investigators, research staff, and participants to provide education, coordinate activities, support participant needs, and guide research support personnel; contribute to successful execution of studies by maintaining participant safety, confidentiality, and ongoing regulatory adherence; qualifications include nursing license, CPR, climate experience in research settings, and knowledge of regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably within a research setting
- Clinical experience with blood draws and specimen collection
- Experience with electronic data capture systems and database management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience providing work direction to research support staff preferred
- A valid California driver's license
