Job Summary
Lead the strategic research plan for LCI Barcelona, ensuring compliance with AQU Catalunya and ANECA accreditation standards while fostering faculty scientific output. Manage the full lifecycle of research projects, including identifying funding calls, coordinating submissions, and overseeing budgetary execution. Track institutional research indicators, maintain the research database, and prepare annual reports for management and accreditation bodies. Establish partnerships with universities, research centers, and public entities to secure collaborative projects and represent the institution in sector networks. Organize scientific outreach activities and support faculty in preparing applications for research bonuses and accreditations.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in fields related to academic management, research, business administration, or disciplines connected to LCI's teaching areas (design, fashion, art, management, technology)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in research management in a university or higher education setting
- Demonstrable experience managing competitive funding calls (H2020/Horizon Europe, Ministry, AGAUR, etc.)
- Knowledge of the Spanish and Catalan university system and accreditation processes (AQU Catalunya, ANECA)
- Native or advanced level (C1-C2) Spanish and Catalan
- Advanced English (C1), essential for drafting international proposals
- Proficiency with project management platforms and research databases
- Knowledge of intellectual property regulations and research ethics
- Analytical skills for reporting and KPI tracking
- Leadership and ability to work with faculty and research profiles
- Excellent communication and technical/scientific writing skills
- Results-oriented, able to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Proactive, autonomous, with strong negotiation skills with external entities
- Commitment to academic quality and educational innovation
