Research Manager – Fieldwork and Data Processing (Operations)

Job Summary
Manage quantitative research workstreams across multiple markets by verifying survey links, executing fieldwork with vendor coordination, and transforming raw data into analysis-ready datasets. Conduct data quality checks, resolve sample integrity issues, and apply structured QC frameworks to ensure accuracy. Perform data preparation including cleaning, validation, and transformation, while reviewing outputs for outliers and logic errors. Deliver structured outputs such as cross-tabulations and codebooks, and provide mentorship to junior team members. Collaborate with global regional teams and ARC researchers to operationalize requirements and shape analytical approaches.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years' experience in a market research agency or in-house role supporting quantitative research data processing and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of different questionnaire logics including skip, piping, randomization, quotas, and validations
- Strong hands-on experience with data processing and statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, R)
- Experience creating cross-tabulations and structured analytical outputs
- Strong understanding of quantitative research data structures and processing workflows
- Ability to interpret data outputs and translate findings into clear observations for research teams
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Confident working with structured datasets and research tools
- Proactive in identifying data issues and proposing solutions
- Able to balance speed with rigor and quality
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic research environment
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Good communication skills and previous experience in a client facing role are a plus
- Knowledge of quantitative analytical techniques such as regression, MaxDiff, and driver analysis is a plus
- Experience supporting multi-market or regional studies is strongly preferred
