Job Summary
Research Lab Tech II conducts non-routine laboratory tasks under minimal direction, provides general lab assistance to support research activities, and compiles data for various procedures and tests in a high-level research environment at USC/Keck Medical Center. Requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent in specialized/technical training with at least 2 years of relevant experience; familiarity with lab equipment, safety protocols, and data analysis. Shows emphasis on routine interpretation of research data and collaboration within a renowned medical research setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent in specialized/technical training; combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
- Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and research protocols
- Ability to compile data and compute results for various research procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with computer analysis techniques and routine data interpretation
