Job Summary
Collect and harvest plasma, serum, and laboratory specimens according to protocol specifications. Monitor urine and fecal specimen collection from study subjects and complete all required study documents. Ensure procedures and processing areas remain neat, clean, and organized while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards. Work in a clinical environment with exposure to biological fluids, performing duties as assigned within a collaborative team.
Required Qualifications
- High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Technical positions may require a certificate
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year)
- Detail oriented
- Good time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under constant exposure to high pressure, intense concentration
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- Work is performed in in a clinical environment
- Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms
