Job Summary
The Research Intern will support the Scaled Diligence Programme on a range of due diligence assignments including corporate compliance, ABAC/ESG and financial crime/IPO/KYC projects. Responsibilities include media research, working with databases and primary documents to identify reputational and criminal issues and determine ultimate beneficial ownership, plus analyzing complex corporate structures and identifying political or sanctions exposure. The role requires writing clearly and concisely, effective verbal and written communication, collaboration with team members, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Fluency in English/Spanish languages (both written and spoken)
- Ability to write clearly, concisely and authoritatively to tight deadlines
- Conduct media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology
- Collaborate with team members across the firm to deliver joint projects
- Communicate complex topics verbally and in writing effectively
