Job Summary

As a Research & Insights Manager at Stepstone, you will blend labor market research, product intelligence, and commercial thinking to influence product positioning, GTM strategies, and sales effectiveness. You will analyze labor market, product, and competitive data to identify trends, translate insights into clear recommendations, build data-driven narratives around value propositions and ICPs, create sales-ready materials, and develop dashboards to enable stakeholders. You will also turn research into thought leadership and demand-gen formats, ensuring insights are accessible and widely adopted across teams. Hybrid work model with a Germany-based base (Dusseldorf) is available, with strong emphasis on data-backed storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and driving revenue impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Marketing or a comparable field with a strong analytical focus
  • Experience in Product Marketing, Strategy, or Lifecycle Marketing
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based B2B business models and digital product-driven organizations
  • Solid background in market or labor market research, including quantitative methods, trend analysis and segmentation
  • Experience with Qualtrics (or similar)
  • Proficiency in BI and data analysis tools is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with at least one AI assistant or LLM-based tool (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights, compelling narratives and decision-ready outputs
  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on revenue impact, product adoption and positioning
  • Confident in making clear, data-backed recommendations and enabling stakeholders through your insights
