Job Summary
Research Fellow to conduct rainfall analysis, rainfall-network construction, and climate-change impact assessment for subdaily rainfall events, with focus on rainfall extreme evaluation and publication. Coordinate with other research staff or students on project discussions and deliverables. Requires a PhD in a related field and a strong publication record; proficient with MATLAB, Python, R-language, and ArcGIS. Post-doc experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or related fields
- A good academic publication record
- Familiar with MATLAB, Python, R-language, and ArcGIS
- Knowledge of network analysis, machine learning, neural networks, rainfall analysis, or multivariate statistical analysis
