Job Summary

Design and execute experiments in radiation biology, metabolic perturbation, and drug-radiation combination studies using cell-based, molecular, biochemical, and animal-model systems. Maintain accurate laboratory records, analyze and interpret data, and prepare figures and manuscripts for publication. Contribute to grant and protocol development while presenting results in lab meetings and scientific forums. Perform specific techniques including clonogenic survival assays, Western blotting, qPCR, flow cytometry, and metabolomics sample preparation. Coordinate with core facilities for omics, imaging, pathology, or animal work as needed. Work in a collaborative academic laboratory setting adhering to biosafety and radiation-safety policies.

Required Qualifications

  • highly motivated postdoctoral researcher
  • comfortable working with human or animal-derived biological materials
  • careful adherence to laboratory safety, biosafety, radiation-safety, animal-research, and data-management policies
