Job Summary
Postdoctoral Research Fellow to conduct and write up a mixed-methods process evaluation of the IMPROVE-DKD trial. Responsibilities include online interviews with healthcare professionals and patients, analysis of survey and website-usage data, developing a framework of implementation recommendations, contributing to publications and bids, supervising students, and disseminating findings. Collaboration across multiple universities and NHS trusts, with a strong emphasis on patient and public involvement, health services research methods, and ethical governance.
Required Qualifications
- PhD relevant to Health Psychology, Health Services Research or Health Promotion
- Track record in mixed methods research for process evaluation
- Experience of Participant and Patient Involvement (PPI) in research
- High level analytical capability including qualitative data collection and analysis
- Publication-writing ability and ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Knowledge of research ethics and governance principles, regulations and approval procedures
- Ability to liaise and collaborate with colleagues and students
- Ability to identify potential sources of funding
- Awareness of Equality Act 2010 and commitment to inclusive practice
- Experience with NHS healthcare professionals or primary care populations (desirable)
