Job Summary
Conduct mechanistic and translational liver disease research focusing on MASLD, MASH, and HCC using advanced in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro models. Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to uncover novel disease mechanisms and identify therapeutic targets while engaging in professional development and training. Perform duties under the supervision of a professional mentor in accordance with institutional and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to work in conditions with sufficient noise to cause you to shout in order to be heard above the noise level
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts of machinery or tools
- Must be able to work near moving vehicles
- Must be able to work with electrical current
- Must be able to work on scaffolding and high places
- Must be able to work with chemicals
- Must be able to work with fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
- Must be able to work in a part-time capacity
- Must be able to work under the supervision of a professional mentor
- Must be able to perform duties in accordance with all institutional and federal regulations
- Must be able to engage in appropriate training and professional development opportunities
