Job Summary
Research Fellow in Brooklyn Health's Science team. Responsibilities include contributing to the development and validation of AI/ML methods for data quality monitoring in clinical trials; quantifying and measuring behavioral manifestations of psychiatric illness from video and audio data; collaborating with Engineering to push developed methods into production; and documenting/disseminating findings to both commercial and scientific audiences. Requirements emphasize advanced Python coding, familiarity with GitHub/AWS/SageMaker, a strong foundation in statistics and ML, and pursuing a masters or doctorate in biomedical sciences or computer science, with familiarity or interest in psychiatric conditions and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data science
- Proficiency with Github, AWS EC2, S3, SageMaker
- Deep comfort with core concepts in statistics and basic machine learning algorithms
- Pursuing a masters or doctorate in Biomedical sciences (neuro, psych, biomedical engineering) or computer science
- Familiarity with or interest in psychiatric conditions and how they are measured
- Ability to concisely and clearly communicate complex scientific concepts
