Job Summary
Establish new technologies for high-throughput investigation of cognitive function in mouse models and promote their adoption to streamline virtual reality behaviour experiments. Pilot the use of head-fixed goggles and assess opportunities for parallelisation to massively increase experimental throughput. This full-time role (35 hours per week) is based at the University of Edinburgh's School of Neurological and Cardiovascular Sciences, offering a competitive salary between £41,064 and £48,822 per annum. The position is fixed-term for 12 months, though flexible working patterns may be considered.
