Job Summary
Develop novel algorithms to classify, segment, characterize, or predict patient outcomes, biomarker status, or disease using digitized gigapixel glass slide images and other clinically sourced data. Evaluate model behavior and robustness to improve performance and generalizability, while analyzing human-AI interaction to understand factors associated with AI augmentation in pathology. Work under mentorship of pathologists and data scientists on projects involving multidisciplinary teams and large clinical datasets to support division activities. This temporary training position requires proof of English proficiency for certain sponsored scholars and aims to develop candidates competitive for national research grants.
