Job Summary
Temporary Research Engineer position in Uppsala (Aug 2026–Jun 2027) focusing on hands-on lab-scale synthesis and development of chromatography resins for bioseparation. Responsibilities include performing experimental work in surface/polymer/organic chemistry, providing technical expertise on chromatography resins, solving technical problems and supporting R&D projects, participating in sustain and product development, conducting primary characterization, and planning and executing tasks under project/section managers. Must document and report results both orally and written; collaboration across functions and cross-functional communication are emphasized. Desired background includes chemistry/chemical engineering with experience in polysaccharides and conjugation to polymers or polysaccharides, with good understanding of EHS requirements; strong delivery focus and teamwork are valued.
Required Qualifications
- BSc./MSc. in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar
- Fluency in English and Swedish (written and oral)
