Job Summary
Design, code, deploy, and maintain web applications and websites to support data management activities for the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence. Prepare functional specifications, design, test, debug, and document programs while providing technical expertise in database management systems and security measures. Interact with stakeholders to elicit business needs for modifying forms and update complex web-based forms using JavaScript and HTML. This role requires a US citizen with the ability to obtain Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering. Located onsite at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, the position involves some travel and potential evening or weekend hours depending on study assessments.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen
- Ability to Obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or software engineering
- Must be available to travel locally, regionally and nationally
- Must be available for hours in the late afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in .NET, HTML, JavaScript, C# and SQL development
- Comp TIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in web software development
- Ability to follow general instructions
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Problem-solving skills
- Adherence to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy
- Detailed knowledge of Oracle, PLSQL, .NET, JavaScript
- Knowledge of Oracle and PLSQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server projects
