Job Summary

Coordinate and support day-to-day operations of multiple federally funded research projects in molecular cancer epidemiology and translational cancer research. Manage study timelines, oversee data collection and quality assurance, maintain REDCap databases, and ensure compliance with NIH and federal regulations. Conduct statistical and bioinformatics analyses of multi-omics datasets, develop reproducible computational workflows, and assist with participant recruitment and biospecimen tracking. Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant applications, and scientific presentations while mentoring graduate and undergraduate students under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) years of research experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, or a closely related scientific discipline
  • Two (2) years of research experience in epidemiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, public health, or biomedical research
  • Relevant graduate research experience
  • Training in molecular epidemiology, cancer research, computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or other biomedical research methodologies
  • Experience with human subjects research and NIH-funded research
  • Experience with CHIP-seq data analysis
