Job Summary
Oversee operational, regulatory, and administrative aspects of the HOPE CKD study, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, sponsor requirements, and federal regulations. Manage participant recruitment, enrollment activities, and retention strategies while coordinating randomization procedures and study interventions. Lead day-to-day study activities by interpreting protocols, conducting quality assurance reviews, and resolving operational issues to maintain data integrity and protocol adherence. Serve as the primary liaison between the research site, coordinating center, and sponsors to facilitate communication and issue resolution. Prepare study progress reports, enrollment analyses, and compliance updates for investigators and leadership. Collaborate with the Principal Investigator on grant applications, budget monitoring, and the development of scientific manuscripts and presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience coordinating or managing clinical research, research administration, or sponsored research programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of human subjects research, research methodology, regulatory compliance requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and data management principles
- Experience interpreting research protocols and exercising independent judgment in coordinating complex research activities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, analyze information, resolve problems, and communicate effectively with investigators, sponsors, regulatory agencies, and research participants
