Job Summary
Provide technical support and expertise for quantum computing devices; assimilate and integrate technical inputs, conduct independent reviews of related literature, develop and document testing methodologies, and coordinate technology development tasks. Lead efforts in quantum architecture evaluation and related areas (non-supervisory), while conveying concepts clearly to interdisciplinary staff and participating in workshops related to program technology areas.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Physics or related field
- U.S. citizenship
- Current U.S. government security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance
- Minimum of 5 years related professional experience and/or research experience
- At least one publication in a related subject
- Expertise in quantum information theory
- Ability to communicate effectively within a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment
- Ability to write concisely
- Persuasive speaking/writing skills
