Job Summary

Research Community Lead responsible for overseeing fellows program management and research community engagement, including onboarding incoming fellows, managing project plans and timelines, coordinating meetings and communications, serving as the primary point of contact, planning and hosting events such as the Open House and Fall Fellows Convening, coordinating travel stipend logistics, and offboarding. The role requires senior program management or academic/community leadership experience, the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, strong organizational and communication skills, and the capacity to navigate sensitive situations while coordinating with leadership, finance, and administrative teams. The position is based at Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, MA, with a hybrid on-campus schedule (2–3 days per week).

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience in a related role.
  • Experience planning and executing professional events and convenings.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong judgment and discretion in managing nuanced stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
