Job Summary
Perform technical procedures on study and stock animals, including clinical observations, restraint, administering anesthesia, and collecting specimens such as urine and blood. Operate laboratory equipment and record raw data in compliance with GLP standards and SOPs. Monitor animal behavior and health status, report facility issues, and maintain general cleanliness of work areas. Assist Study Supervisor(s) with sample and data collection while managing cross-functional process improvements. Requires high school diploma, BS/BA preferred, and ALAT certification. Work authorization without sponsorship required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Valid work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Ability to adapt easily to new software programs
- Ability to work cross functionally on process improvements
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to manage change and can readily adapt to new projects
- Positive attitude toward work and co-workers
- Ability to identify and resolve problems as they are encountered
Desired Qualifications
- BS/BA in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of 0-1 of related experience
- ALAT certification
